Prices quoted or obtained on our website are based on the shipment or freight of personal effects. Any shipment classified as commercial upon arrival at the destination port is subject to the full duty applicable or imposed by the destination authority/customs. This duty will be passed on to the consignee or consignor, whichever is applicable.

Our containers are loaded twice a month, with durations ranging from 6 to 10 weeks from the sailing date.

Volumetric weight is a measure of the amount of space an object occupies on an aircraft. It is calculated based on the density of a package, where a less dense item typically occupies more volume compared to its actual weight. To calculate volumetric weight, we measure the dimensions of each item individually or combined, or if they are received on a pallet, we measure the pallet to ascertain its volume as well as weight. The formula for calculating volumetric weight is (Length x Width x Height in centimeters) divided by 5000, which gives the volumetric weight in kilograms.

Once both the Dead weight and Volumetric weight are calculated, we compare the two values to establish which is greater. The higher weight of the two is then used to calculate the shipment cost, also known as the CHARGEABLE WEIGHT.
